Bosphorus Sofrası sits on Friargate in Preston, behind a charcoal and gold sign with the Bosphorus bridge drawn under a crescent moon.
Inside it is modern and calm — wooden tables, velvet chairs, warm pendant lights and big windows onto the street. Guests describe it as clean, peaceful and well organised.
The kitchen works the grill: lamb and chicken skewers, kebab rolls under tomato sauce and yoghurt, mezze like hummus, falafel and grilled halloumi, and pide-style pizza.
The owner is often out front chatting to tables, and the çay and desserts keep people sitting a little longer.
Lovely, modern restaurant with really tasty food!
